Today, Phase 3 continued their learning all about Calligrams – Do you know what they are; can you guess from the images below?

Today, in two class groups, we took a moment to create some shared poetry, all about maths – before we write some individual calligrams, later this week.

We started with words banks for maths and the all important emotive language, that we would need to build our poems around. Then we made a start. After that, we considered the ‘topic-related’ shapes we’d like to create with the words of our poems.
