This week we focused our maths learning on securing our knowledge of the multiplication tables to 12 x 12. We talked about the importance of this knowledge for all aspects of maths and, how being able to recall this knowledge instantly will support us in becoming excellent mathematicians.

We used several strategies to help us: Using a multiplication grid; playing Times Tables Rockstars and Hit The Button, and discussing multiples and factors in our Maths Meetings.
