Delayed due to storm Eunice, we finally got a chance to complete our Phase Maths Match (in March). The teams, once again, set about working to solve mathematical problems, challenging the other teams to correctly answer more questions.

Strategy was the name of the game: a strategy for which questions to answer first and what strategy was needed to answer each question. The contest was fierce, with a an additional twist on this occasion: the year groups were split, with each half of the phase taking their turn whilst the other year group attended their drumming lesson – The tension was palpable.
