Today we have been learning how to use the ‘Make ten’ strategy to add two 1-digit numbers.  We have worked hard to use our number bonds facts and complete challenges using our skills and knowledge as well as proving our answers to our friends. 

We have been asking each other ‘How do you know?’   ‘Can you prove it?’   ‘Can you show me how you do it?’  

Here we are using our make ten strategy using cubes and objects as well as recording them via equations in our workbooks and on whiteboards.
