Following our last lesson, we got creative with 3D shapes today. We identified a range of 3D shapes and discussed what was similar and different. We thought about faces, edges and vertices and also identified the apex of a cone and pyramid.

We used the shapes to see if they would stack or roll – we thought about what might happen and made a prediction and then tested our theory. We used our knowledge of round/ straight and curved/ flat to help us predict and reason about what we had found out.
