Today we looked at measurement! We looked at how many cm are in a m and what we would measure using metres. We discussed how we estimate and the meaning of estimating, this is like a ‘clever guess’ and we can use this to help us with our Maths. We estimated the length of objects and then measured them using metre sticks. We were careful to measure from the bottom, or the side of the object to ensure we were accurate.

We then used the symbols <, > and = to compare the numbers, we were able to use the language of greater and less than and will continue to work on this.
