In Maths, Year 5 have started learning about Transformations. We learnt that the 4 types of transformation are translation, reflection, rotation and dilation. This week we will be focusing on translations. The children know that movements between positions of a given number to the left/right/up/down are called translations. The children had a go at describing the translations between two points on a grid, using their vocabulary to help them.
