Every child will be given a paper plate to create their favourite book character on. You should endeavour to use resources you have at home, which may be different materials, paints or crayons/colours etc. This competition will start today and the deadline is Tuesday 5th March, to allow us time to judge the winner and display them in the hall on World Book Day (Thursday 7th March). Prizes are on offer, one per phase, and will be presented in the assembly on WBD. Also, ahead of World Book Day we are asking children to take photos of themselves “wild reading” (reading in strange places!). These photos will be displayed alongside the paper plate characters in our school hall. So please send your photos to us on Class DoJo.

Internet Safety – Health and Wellbeing
As part of our internet safety lessons this term, we are exploring health and wellbeing when being online. As part of your home learning, you should write a diary of when you use technology this evening. You should log the device you are on, how long you are on it for and what you are doing on the device for that time. You could even ask a family member to do the same. Maybe even Miss Taylor and Miss Southam will have a go too!

The children have spent the last 7 weeks learning the clarinet. Please join us next week for our Clarinet Performances in our school hall.
